It does not come with a sunroof because of the overall design. The Chevy Camaro and the other sports cars that have sunroof, have the panel for it, but the Supra does not have the space for it. There are blocked off vents behind the front fenders which is some fakery but if you own the car, you can make them operational. It is designed to be modded.
They have even drilled some of the strut tower braces in for you beforehand. The car comes with space to do so much more if you want to mod it.
The car allows you to steer in ways that few other cars can. You do not lose grip around sharp corners when you are drifting. You do not just steer with your hands but with your feet too. It does not go into a spin and will negotiate the corner sideways without losing grip and going to a spin.
This is the fastest Toyota ever built and when you hit the road, it can do 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. The car is also light, weighing just t3,400 pounds. It has the BMW six’s 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque running though the ZF8 automatic. It pulls very hard.
There is a lot of grip with this one and it manages to be agile and stable at the same time without losing power. It is pulling no punches when it comes to maintaining body control no matter what happens. It is easy to get it under control with the brakes and the throttle. However, it is a super car with super responses and you will need a few years to master it.
They have 1500 Launch Edition models and the low volume is to be expected. This would explain why they partnered up with BMW to develop the car side by side with the BMW Z4. When it comes to engines there are not many places you can go, but if you have BMW, then you are good to go.
The GR Supra goes for $50,920 for the subsequent models and $56,180 for the Launch Edition models. Options include a driver-assist package and JBL Audio, going for $1195 and $2460 respectively. Everything else is standard.
The Supra is a benchmark when it comes to Toyota vehicles, which are known for being a majority of mass transportation vehicles with awesome dynamics and great prices. The Supra was not about power, it was about ergonomics and looks and fans of cars will sure love to park one in their home one of these days.
